I'm HERE gunners! Morning all, I've brought the full works with me to add to Gunners grub!

Bollix looks VERY disgruntled though, best keep out of his way for a while, I've got the Gauntletts with me, so I'll just put him over there in that big box with a blankie and his food and gf, and he should be fine. The kittins are too busy exploring to be a problem!

In case anyone's wondering when we throw to a new page … we don't. The wiki hosts hadn't quite predicted that anyone would ever want a thread running into thousands of posts! I'm going to start a new thread for today, and then see if I can work out how to lock this one. Haven't got a clue at the moment!

Well no one guessed it was me, so I have had to log in…

I can't help thinking we need to move to a better host….it seems to have comprehensively broken now…..

Am off to do compostwoman stuff outside Te$co in Hereford tomorrow……..
and next week we are planting up the veg beds at school and having a Welly wednesday in support of HDRA!!

I'd be inclined to agree with 2CVB, I'd got the impression that it's not a particularly cheap host; if they're not giving value for money ditch them.

Ah, Backups are good, but only if they're recent!!! If they're a decent host, they should do daily backups, and if not, move somewhere else (I know I know, you've already moved it recently!!!)… :)

I've not closed the forum on purpose as PMs are still working, so folk can still get in touch with one another via that mechanism. Closing it wouldn't really help much seeing as the backend MySQL database seems to have hosed/missing tables so is probably going to need to be restored from a backup (though it might well need to be closed at short notice if such a restore is done so as to not corrupt partially restored tables - be warned folks). Lets hope the hosting company have made a backup recently…

Its me, mrsn….but I think i will be anonymous………anyway…..I am drinking in order to get over the shock of…….em well I was so shocked I drunk to forget, so I'll stick with the horrible wine I got in for the MIL but she didn't drink it she stuck with the whisky…but it's not that bad, well when there's nothing else in……..so there you go….

Oooh hello everyone…just been watching last nights Frankie Howard thing….I met him several times ( had a Dad who was "something senior" in ATV /Central, so lots of famous stars etc were Uncle this and Auty that…odd to see them portrayed on the screen…

Well. I did think I'd escape to the forum for a bit - DH is talking motorbikes. AGAIN. He's just gone and bought another one before he's even put his up for sale! Oh well - I think a G&T and I'll just have to get back to listening to him if it's all broken here - hope this is a short term thing. Not sure I'll last too long! :)

Phew!!! Thank goodness I spotted that highly embarrassing stray apostrophe in my first post and edited it out in time!

Personally I'd have let him get at least as far as Slowhand before nicking his guitars, but maybe not much further than that.

CRat, I replied to your email, and yes, did get Dave's text, but have had some horrible laptop problems AGAIN so not sure where I was in the sending of things when it broke, but I seem to remember being in the middle of compiling an email about work, so perhaps I did send you something.

Hi, well I'm here, having got through four laptops in two weeks, not sure why but I had to rush out this aft to buy yet ANOTHER one while my Eee with a broken screen (if that's what it is) is packed up to return but I did buy another Eee cos it's fab, cute and lovely and besides, all the others in the shop ran on Windoze Fistula except the horribly expensive Macs.

It's nice in here, but hardly home. What's wrong with the proper forum? I can log in ok but haven't tried to do anything with it.

I noticed one of my old forums is still there (so much for their 30-day auto delete thing!!!), I've cleaned out all the old cr*p and tidied things up and put in a single chat section, I just wish I had the money to get rid of the adverts!!! Anyway, it's here if anyone's interested… :)
