I thought I'd start this thread so that we can keep folk informed of progress on the move of the INEBG forum to its new server. Its not started yet, so, er, there's nothing to report at the moment!

Yep. Its waiting on Malroy and his gnomes to start work on it - when they do the forum will be locked so that they can transfer the database across to the new machine in a consistent state and without losing any last minute postings.

No news here, I'm afraid. This either means it's all going fine and INEBG will disappear in a puff of smoke sometime in the next 3 hours, or there's been a hitch and we'll have to hang around a bit longer. The forum should be locked just before the move so you can keep posting until… well, until you can't post! It's not the beeb handling the move, BTW - they just want their name back so when the new series of INEBG comes out in January people don't think the beeb are responsible for all us rabble :D

and there will be a redirect from there to the new site as soon as it's all working - once that's happened we'll have the new address.
