Chocolate Brownies
From the forum:
350g/14oz dark chocolate
250g/10oz unsalted butter
3 eggs
250g/10oz dark muscavado sugar
100g/4oz plain flour
1tsp baking powder
- preheat oven to 170°C/gas 3
- melt chocolate and butter over simmering water
- whisk together eggs and sugar until light and fluffy
- fold the chocolate mix into the egg mix
- sieve in the flour and baking powder, stir and pour into a greased square cake tin (approx 22cm)
- bake on the middle shelf for 35min until the top begins to crack
They're lovely and fudgy - enjoy
