Chocolate Brownies

From the forum:

350g/14oz dark chocolate
250g/10oz unsalted butter
3 eggs
250g/10oz dark muscavado sugar
100g/4oz plain flour
1tsp baking powder

  • preheat oven to 170°C/gas 3
  • melt chocolate and butter over simmering water
  • whisk together eggs and sugar until light and fluffy
  • fold the chocolate mix into the egg mix
  • sieve in the flour and baking powder, stir and pour into a greased square cake tin (approx 22cm)
  • bake on the middle shelf for 35min until the top begins to crack

They're lovely and fudgy - enjoy
