Emergency Flapjacks

5oz butter
6oz granulated sugar (brown or white)
7oz porrige oats
gently melt butter over low heat with sugar. the sugar will not melt - thats
ok, it doesnt need to. mix melted butter and sugarinto oats and press into
a baking tray which has been greased and lined with greased grease-proof
paper. cook for a while (twenty minutes maybe) in a medium oven until
golden and a bit bubbly. yum. this is also called 567 flapjack because of
the quantities. most important thing to remember is to grease the
greaseproof paper.
