I live in rural Herefordshire with my husband and young daughter.
We grow our own organic fruit and veg and have a small woodland which we manage for the benefit of the local wildlife. We also have a few hens…so lots of eggs. We make chutney, jam, wine and cider from our home grown produce. I am a qualified Holistic Therapist and make lotions, oil blends, soaps, scrubs and suchlike using green and natural ingredients. I also make baskets and candles.
I am very interested in Conservation and Environmental issues and have been active in a lot of campaigning in my time. I am a keen composter and volunteer as a "Master Composter" (that's a community compost advisor) Its a scheme run by my local Council and Garden Organic. I am also a freelance Forest School Leader and Environmental Educator and I run several successful Eco clubs at local primary schools. I also run woodcraft and woodland play sessions in our own woodland.
I love Pink Floyd and Led Zep, books by Diana Gabaldon, Sharon Penman, Anya Seton, Juliette Marillier and other authors of Historical/Celtic novels, and most of all Terry Pratchett.
