We, the undersigned, are regular shoppers with Marks and Spencer.

We would like to request that you give serious consideration to ceasing the practice of supplying plastic bags with purchases, either free or charged for.

It is evident, from your move to charge for these bags, that you realise there are severe environmental issues surrounding their production and disposal. However we feel that the only safe and sensible option is to no longer supply them at all but to continue with your sales of cloth bags.
